UN Human Rights defended peaceful demonstration on farmers movement

The United Nations Human Rights has given a statement for the first time on India's farmer's movement.

The Human Rights Organization of the United Nations has appealed to both the administration and protesters to exercise maximum restraint regarding the ongoing farmer's movement in India.

The UN Human Rights also said that the right to assemble peacefully and expressly should be protected both offline and online.

The institution said that it is necessary that an equitable solution should be found respecting the human rights of all.

This is the first time that the United Nations has said something about the farmer protests on the borders of Delhi for more than two months in India.
